PRESIDENT’S SON TO OPEN AUTO REPAIR SHOP FOR WOMEN
In a move that has been widely praised by members of the Mukherjee family, the son of President Pranab Mukherjee has announced that he will open a charitable auto repair shop for women. This was shortly after his speech where he claimed that protests against rape were mainly being conducted by ‘dented, painted women.’
“We will provide free service at a very nominal cost,” said Mr. Mukherjee, “Service will include cleaning of exhaust pipes and checking of suspension. We will make sure that all painting is done only after denting has been properly repaired.”
Analysts are seeing this as a shrewd move on the part of the presidential scion. “This is a shrewd move,” said Professor Jean Baljean of Jawaharlal Nehru University, “His first speech was aimed at attracting the rapist vote. Now, he is targeting the women’s vote. Between the two, he should sail through the next election.”
Sources have confirmed that Mr. Mukherjee has also entered his mother for the Statesman Vintage Car Rally.
“We are a little concerned about her mileage,” said Mr. Mukherjee, “But we are hoping she will do her best. It’s a question of family prestige.”
Next stop a repair shop for demented presidented men.
