Many physicists today postulate the existence of multiple universes, even when sober. We used to live in a world of infinite possibilities. Now we live in an infinite number of worlds. India shines. Democracy thrives. The economy booms. A hundred flyovers bloom. This is not that India. If you see your picture here one day, don’t worry. That’s not you.

Pome of the Day

legal broken gavel

Hey! Ho! The judge ride in.

Boom! The house go down.

He press the clutch

With gentle touch

Reverse for one more round

Arrest that Patkar!

Gaikwad too!

Beat them to the ground.

That old lady?

Maoist! Shoo!

Making too much sound.

Kick out Babloo

Use your shoe

Don’t spoil judges gown

Finish quick

Then me and you

We go have one more round

Builder people only few

Pandey help us please

Eves are there

But do take care

In case you need to tease

(Do it if compulsory

But make sure no one sees)

Builder-saab feel simple joy

Watching house go down

Soon he go to temple

Gift one golden crown

Hey! Ho! The judge ride in

Boom! The house go down

Malls and malkins, shining bright

Such a lovely town.

Hi Narayan! Good to see you. This was inspired by the pictures of Javed Iqbal on Facebook. He’s a photographer and blogger who documents slum clearances. They’re inhuman and horrifying.
