CHILD GIVES AWAY FATHER’S HARD-EARNED MONEY

In news that has been condemned by the Reserve Bank of India, Pappu Verma, 11, resident of Aurangzeb Road, has been caught red-handed after giving away his father’s hard-earned money. The tragedy occurred at the Tiny Tots Himalayan Leisure Camp, a 5-star adventure holiday facility for well-to-do youth. Each luxury tent at this facility has its own mini-bar, complete with personal mini-attendant. Late yesterday evening Pappu Verma was found in his room, naked, watching Discovery Channel, having given away all his clothes to his mini-attendant, who is now absconding.

“I thought this was supposed to be 5-star, but my son was nanga poonga!” said Mrs Sunita Verma, wife of mining magnate Sanjeev Verma. “Poor Sanjeev is working so hard. Ministers and Maoists are sucking his blood. His security  guards are demanding imported beer. Most of the labourers have run away. We replaced them with strong, young boys from Haryana, but each of them is having six chapatis for dinner. Even his helicopter is giving trouble. Due to stress and over-work, his health is suffering, and now Pappu is giving it all away! My mother-in-law will never let me hear the end of this. There are multiple copies of her on our hard drive.”

The Verma family may soon be seeking spiritual guidance.

“I may take Pappu to Guru Dharti Pakar, of the Art of Breathing” said Mrs Verma. “His fees are very high, so I’m hoping he can arrive at a correct solution.”
